glowbug Accessibility Statement
Draft. Last updated 2026-10-17.
Nimonic (니모닉) wants glowbug to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and older people who are new to computers. This statement covers our website (useglowbug.com), the legal pages, the phone web version and the desktop apps.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We have not yet had an independent audit, so we describe glowbug as partially conformant: some parts do not fully meet the standard yet (see below).
What we do
- Text and controls work with the keyboard, and keyboard focus is clearly visible.
- Pages use real headings, lists, tables and labelled controls, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Spoken answers are also shown as text, and you can type a question instead of speaking.
- Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
- We design pages so text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout fits screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
- Pages follow your system's light or dark mode, and each page is marked with its language, including right-to-left languages.
- The legal pages are available in 81 languages, and the website and apps in many of them.
Known limitations
- On-screen pointing is visual. glowbug points at things on your screen with a moving cursor. The same guidance is given in words and spoken aloud, but the pointer itself is not announced to screen readers.
- Voice input works best with clear speech. If speaking is hard for you, type your question instead.
- AI answers may sometimes describe things only by their look or position ("the blue button at the top right"). Ask glowbug to name the button or menu item instead.
- Desktop app screen-reader support (VoiceOver, NVDA, Narrator) has not been fully tested yet. Some panels may have unlabelled controls.
- Contrast: a few decorative and secondary text elements on the website may fall slightly below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
- Translations: some languages may fall back to English for this statement.
- Third-party pages such as payment checkouts (Paddle, PayPro Global, EBANX, NOWPayments, PortOne) are run by those companies and follow their own accessibility policies.
We are working on these and will update this statement as we fix them.
Feedback and contact
If you find a barrier, or need information in a different format, email hello@useglowbug.com with the page or screen and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix or offer an alternative as soon as we can.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the authority responsible for accessibility in your country.
How we checked
Self-assessment by Nimonic (니모닉) against WCAG 2.2 AA, using keyboard-only testing, browser accessibility tools and automated checks. This statement was prepared on 2026-10-17.
